StudyPath is built for one simple idea: studying in the Netherlands should feel achievable, not overwhelming.
Every year, talented students look at Dutch universities and think, “This could be the right place for me.” Then reality hits: unfamiliar terms, scattered requirements, confusing timelines, visa procedures, financial proof rules, housing shortages, and too many conflicting opinions online. You can be an excellent student and still lose time, money, and confidence simply because the process is unclear.
StudyPath exists to change that.
Our Mission
We help international students plan a clear route from “I want to study in the Netherlands” to “I am settled, enrolled, and ready to thrive.”
Not with vague advice. Not with copy-paste checklists. But with structured guidance, realistic human planning, and hands-on support for the parts that usually cause stress: programme choices, documentation, application steps, communication, visa preparation, and early-stage life setup in the Netherlands.
What Does StudyPath Do
1) Clear guidance with free resources
We publish practical, easy-to-follow guides that explain Dutch higher education and student life in plain language, including:
- WO vs HBO, Bachelor's vs Master's, ECTS, grading, academic calendars
- Tuition fees (EU vs non-EU), scholarships, cost of living
- MVV and student residence permits (VVR), financial proof, document checklists
- Housing, health insurance, BSN, DigiD, banking, transport, part-time jobs
- Student associations and integrating into Dutch student life
These resources are designed to give you a strong foundation and reduce confusion—before you ever pay for help.
2) Paid support packages (ranging between €199 – €999)
For students who want structured help from start to finish, StudyPath offers tiered packages that can include:
Programme planning
- Selecting programmes that fit your background, goals, and budget
- Comparing universities, cities, and career pathways
- Building a realistic application timeline
Application support
- Step-by-step application planning (including Studielink guidance)
- Document checklist and quality review (CV, transcripts, certificates, translations)
- Motivation letter support (structure, editing, clarity, and alignment with Dutch expectations)
- Practical support communicating with universities when needed
Visa and arrival preparation
- MVV / VVR process navigation (in coordination with your university as sponsor)
- Financial proof preparation support (format, clarity, consistency)
- Housing strategy tips and scam-avoidance guidance
- After-arrival checklist (BSN registration, DigiD, bank account, insurance, municipality steps)
StudyPath is not a “magic button.” But it is a systematic way to avoid common mistakes and move through the process with confidence.
Who We Are
StudyPath was founded by Jacky and Artem, two people who know the Netherlands not just as a destination, but as a place they have studied, built careers, and called home.
Both founders share an immigration background and understand the unique pressure of building a future in a country that wasn’t where you started. They also know what it means to translate ambition into practical steps because they have done it themselves.
Jacky
The legal mind
Jacky works as a jurist in the Netherlands with a strong background in immigration-related matters. That experience brings a calm, structured approach to complex processes: timelines, documentation, and the “small details” that often decide whether things go smoothly. Jacky’s style is practical and direct: make the requirements clear, reduce risk, and keep students informed at every step.
Artem
The systems thinker
Artem works in the IT industry, with the mindset of a builder. Where others see scattered information and messy processes, Artem sees a system that can be simplified and improved. He focuses on making StudyPath efficient, structured, and student-friendly, so guidance feels like a well-designed roadmap instead of a maze.
Together, Jacky and Artem combine legal precision with tech-driven clarity, and a shared belief that students deserve better support than random forums and half-answers.
Why We Believe the Netherlands Is Underrated
The Netherlands quietly offers something rare: high-quality education that makes sense in real life.
Compared with more “traditional” study destinations (like the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand), the Netherlands often stands out in three ways:

Time: many programmes are efficient and focused (often 3-year Bachelor's and 1-year Master's structures)

StudyPath started from a familiar feeling: being capable, motivated, and still not sure if you are doing things correctly.
