StudyPath is built by two young professionals who know the Netherlands in a very real way: not just as a study destination, but as a place they arrived in, adapted to, and built a life in. They’ve both been on the “international student journey” from the inside, figuring out systems, learning how things work, and turning uncertainty into a plan. That experience is exactly why StudyPath feels practical rather than theoretical.
At the core, StudyPath is founded by Jacky and Artem. They share an immigration background, both studied in the Netherlands, and both care deeply about helping talented students not only study here, but truly thrive here.
Jacky graduated from Maastricht University with an LL.M. in European Law. After graduation, he worked as a jurist in various Dutch law firms, and over time he focused more and more on the area that is both technical and deeply human: Dutch and EU immigration law.
He later founded Pathway Partners and runs his own practice. This legal background isn’t just a nice detail. It fits StudyPath naturally, because studying abroad is never only about admissions. For many students, the “real stress” lives in the paperwork, timelines, and procedures that sit behind the scenes: visas, residence permits, proof of funds, and the rules you must keep meeting once you arrive.
A few things Jacky brings into StudyPath are simple but powerful:

- a calm, structured way of explaining complex processes
- a genuine belief that international talent can build a meaningful future in the Netherlands
Artem came to the Netherlands as an expat and completed his Master’s degree at Delft University of Technology. He’s always had a builder’s mindset starting from a young age. In fact, he began running business projects as early as 14, and that entrepreneurial drive never really left.
Today, Artem works as a Staff Engineer at a renowned fintech startup. In StudyPath, he is the reason the platform feels organised and up to date, not messy or outdated. Where others see scattered information and “it depends” answers, Artem turns it into a clear system students can follow. He also cares about meeting expectations: not overselling, not guessing, and not leaving students stuck between steps.
What Artem brings to StudyPath includes:

- an obsession with clarity and usability: what students actually need, not what looks nice on paper
