About this program
Are you looking for a study programme focused on animals? Do you love horses, or can you see yourself working with dairy, sheep or poultry farmers? In the bachelor Animal Husbandry, you prepare for a career in the animal sector. There are two tracks to choose from: Equine Sports and Business is all about horses. Half of your courses focus on equine topics, the other half on business. You study equine welfare, sport performance, event management and marketing. After graduation, you can become a show jumping event organiser, breeding expert, project manager at an international horse federation, or marketeer for an equine brand. Animals, Society and Business focuses on farm animals such as cows, sheep and poultry. You study animal biology and welfare and combine it with entrepreneurship and financial management. You might advise farmers on animal behavior and stable design, become a feed expert, or work with governments on sustainable farming policy and animal welfare.
