About this program
The world needs chemistry for smarter solutions. Think of clean drinking water, sustainable energy and chemicals, the development of advanced materials, and new medication. Our society is calling for a new generation of chemists who can design the processes and materials needed to make these possible. Chemical engineers tackle challenges on very different scales, from microscopic structures on a chip to improving and designing complete reactors or industrial installations. This small-scale Bachelor’s programme prepares you for this broad and fascinating field. You might go on to develop an energy-saving process that didn’t even exist on your first day of study. Or contribute to a battery that stores energy more efficiently and delivers higher peak power. In short, as a chemical engineer, your work truly matters.
