About this program
The bachelor's program Industrial Design focuses on designing interactive systems, products and related services that change, intensify or make life more comfortable.
As a student of Industrial Design Engineering, you will learn to translate new technologies and social trends and issues into innovations for everyday life. Making is an important part your learning path.
You will learn to incorporate innovation, data, creativity, technology, user needs, aesthetics, social impact and business interest into design. Smart home systems, artificial intelligence, smart clothing, health, sustainable materials and motivational games are examples of projects you may work on.
The Industrial Design curriculum is based on self-directed and competency-centered learning. You will work on design assignments in a team with fellow students. You will receive intensive guidance from fellow students, coaches, and experts and work together with researchers.
The international teaching staff consists of lecturers and supervisors, some of whom come from practice. Such as a design agency or a large company. There is close cooperation with the professional practice, and projects will often have clients from practice.
