About this program
Applied physicists have a different view of the world around us. Physical phenomena become fascinating challenges to investigate and analyze. As an applied physicist, you take it a step further by using your knowledge to create new technologies. For example, think of: * improving quantum communication * advancing future clean renewable energy systems * developing faster and smarter photonic chips You will work on ambitious projects at the forefront of physics and real-world applications. Often, you will be part of multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with research institutes and high-tech companies in the Brainport region. Novel experimental and computational tools and leading technologies The master's program in Applied Physics leads to a Master of Science in Applied Physics (MSc). You will develop your expertise in a specialized field. Through practice-oriented projects and advanced tools, you will be well prepared for complex challenges and a career in which you can make a meaningful contribution to society.
