Electrical Engineering

Today's daily life would not be possible without electrical engineering. It solves challenges in every aspect of our lives from energy supply and communication to health care and the environment. As an electrical engineer, you might design chips that enable technologies such as AI applications and self-driving cars, develop smart energy grids that support a more sustainable energy supply, advance medical imaging technologies that help improve healthcare, or build faster, more reliable wireless networks that keep society connected. What will you learn? In the Master's program of Electrical Engineering at TU/e, you will learn to design, analyze and realize innovative electrical components and systems. The program combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on research and design experience through collaboration with our research groups, an internship, and a graduation project in industry or academia. You will develop the skills to work independently on complex engineering challenges, apply a scientific approach to research and design, and collaborate across disciplines, preparing you for your future as an electrical engineer.
