- 1. Additional Knowledge
In order to take part in the programme, you need to have fluency in English, both written and spoken. Requirements: a TOEFL score of ≥100 (internet based) and all subscores ≥22; an IELTS score of ≥7.0, subscores ≥ 6.5; Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or Cambridge C1 advanced or C2 Proficiency with a mark of C or higher.

We are looking for students with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Information Studies or in a related area or discipline that is equivalent to a Dutch university diploma. In general, students' previous education should reflect their affinity with the following subject areas: Communication Studies, Management & Organisation, Intercultural Communication or (Inter)cultural Studies and Linguistics.

As conducting communication research is an essential component of this programme, candidates should have experience in doing quantitative research (e.g. experimental or survey research) and knowledge of inferential statistics (e.g. t-test, ANOVA, Chi-square).

- 5. Language Test

We'll also consider your portfolio, practical experience (for example, studies or work experience abroad) and motivation in order to determine whether you meet the requirements and are suitable for this specialisation. An interview may be part of the selection process.
