About this program
The world is facing major sustainability challenges. Wicked problems, such as the energy transition, that cannot be solved overnight. Do you also want to contribute to a healthier world and help solve major societal challenges? The one-year full-time master’s degree programme in Sustainability Transitions at The Hague University of Applied Sciences teaches you to think in an interdisciplinary way and develop the knowledge and skills you need to accelerate transitions towards a more sustainable society.
Its combination of theory, practice and the development of personal leadership makes this English-taught master’s degree programme unique. You will be working on projects with organisations in different sectors and gain experience in making an impact in the world. In doing so, you will learn how to drive change, involve others and strengthen your own role in the transition. By working together with fellow students from different backgrounds, you will discover new perspectives and learn to come up with creative solutions. This is how you gain the knowledge, experience and mindset needed to make a lasting difference.
